A one of a kind double sided Sterling silver wax seal charm. Featuring the (upside-down) impression of a wax seal with the motto “HOW OFT OUR JOYS ARE CROSSED” with two crossed clay smoking pipes, on the reverse is the impression of a clay pipe maker from a 19th century Dutch clay pipe bowl we found during one of our larking adventures. PLEASE KNOW that this charm is a discounted second as the wax seal impression is upside-down, whoops! The charm can be slipped onto a suitable small chain or clipped onto a charm holder. Please note that it has a soldered bail.

This piece is stamped with Alex's unique makers mark which is recorded in the Edinburgh Assay Office historic hallmarking archive.
